Welcome to today's 20 Minute Arms & Shoulders Workout with Dumbbells At Home! This 20 minute arm and shoulder dumbbell workout was so much fun, I love moving through a variety of exercises. Time truly flies during sessions like this, I think you'll love it. Time flies when you're having fun am I right?! This follow along 20 minute workout will focus on the biceps, triceps and shoulders. We will be toning and sculpting a beautiful, strong upper body!
The format on this workout was fun and really will allow for you to challenge your biceps, triceps and shoulders. To give you an example from our arms and shoulders workout with dumbbells, we will be moving through an exercise for our arms for 30 seconds, then straight into a shoulder exercise. Our workout begins with 30 seconds of a wide curl, then straight into 30 seconds of an alternating front raise. These transitions move quick, but make sure you move through your transition with ease. Don't feel the need to rush into your next exercise, your form comes first and quality over quantity is key! I loved this format to workout the arms and shoulders, I really hope you enjoy it too!!
I recommend having two pairs of dumbbells on hand for this workout. For reference, I used 15 lbs for the presses and 10 lbs for the raises, curls and kickbacks. Work with what you have, if you have lighter weights you may be able to move at a faster tempo than me to increase your number of reps. Feel free to also start with your heavier weights and drop down to your lighter weights at any time you feel your form is being compromised. Quality over quantity!
Keep in mind while training today to keep your core engaged with a slight bend in your knees. For your raises, maintain a slight bend at your elbows and avoid fully locking out. This is a follow along workout so each exercise will be on the screen with the clock running. Have fun today, I'm so stoked you're here!!
